Success Stories

The Success stories are some of our friends that we have helped to get off of the streets and back into a self-sufficient life. Each person had a different reason for being on the streets and therefore the resources that we utilize are all different based on their story.

Here are a few:

Brin and Sam – These two young ladies found themselves on the streets while vacationing. They went to LA and ran out of money to get home. They had enough bus fare to get to Vegas. Then they were stuck. They were on the streets of Vegas for about a week. We ran into them and listened to their story. Brin started crying and you could immediately tell that these girls had no business being on the streets in the homeless corridor. Not a safe place!! We were able to collect bus fare and get them on a bus to their family back in Colorado. We made contact with their parents and were assured they would be there to collect them when they arrived in Denver.

Al – One of my favorite people that I have met on the streets because he was writing a book on the homeless. If you know Al, you know he is one of the most giving souls there is. He wound up homeless because over time he gave more than he brought in and wound up living on the streets for about 3 years. Al accepted our request to help him and we were able to get Al temporary housing and then finally after several months, permanent housing in a nice complex with an elevator. We thank God every time we are able to help someone!!!

Kevin is the kindest, gentlest man I have met. He is always grateful for any and everything we can provide him. He is not particular about what we give him. Kevin needed help getting his Birth Certificate so we were able to help him along with many others get this vital piece of paperwork that they need to get back into the workplace, among other things.
